Fast forward to this episode.
It's Britney bitch... Again!
Britanny's doing sooo bad at school, she got booted off of Cheerios, after having an all-time low grade of F- at Math... Yes, I never knew that existed until now! After losing the Cheerios off her plate, she lost herself as well, causing a meltdown. To cheer her up, Mr.Schu, with the help of Emma Pillsbury, thought of ways to bring her swag back on. So yea, Britney 2.0 is ON!
Our very own Brit-brit has gone coo-coo kachoo, and almost shaved her head. Good thing Mr. Schuester came in time to stop her. Whew! However, Brittany's downward spiral continues on to the hallways of McKinley, where she was provoked by one persistent Jacob Ben Israel into being hit by an umbrella. Totally JBI's fault, though. He deserved it. "Leave Brittany alone!!!" Poor Brit's gone off the rails, talking to her now-only-friend, Kiki, while she drinks a sietenta-sized expresso... Yes, 70 ounces of caffeine! Hahaha! Who's Kiki, by the way? She is Siri's older and super smart cousin, whose really jealous about famous Siri has gotten. Oh, and she lives inside Brittany's new super cheap phone, which she found at the laundromat. Just so you know.
Anyway, back to Glee club, the whole team's getting too worried about her. Since she lost her spot at the Cheerios, they thought of giving her the solo for the pep rally to boost her confidence back up. Unfortunately, she lost her voice after shouting at inanimate objects that she asks if she can lip sync instead, to which Kiki finds a great idea. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there, when they performed at the pep rally, with Brittany lip syncing. A furious Mr. Schuester scolded at the club while on choir room stating the possibility of them being barred from choir competitions because of the said debacle.
At NYADA, Rachel was again crushed by Cassie July by telling her she's not sexy enough for tango, excluding her at the tango lessons. She then asks Brody to help out to bring the sexy out of her in a Britney number that they showed Cassie later on. But of course, Ms. July only found it OK. Rachel thought otherwise and ended up with a spat with Cassie after calling her jealous, and all sorts of things. She brought up her train-wrecked broadway past, which was told to her by Kurt.
Meanwhile, new girl Marley's defends her lunch lady momma after the jocks at school insult her. But never fear. Our dear Jake comes to the rescue, in all his male bravado, telling them to apologize to Marley and her mom, picks a fight with them. Will Schuester stops the fight, and brings Jake to the choir room, where he finally meets his big bro, Puck--er Noah. Noah tries to talk some sense onto Jake, on how he turned his life around after becoming THE original school bad boy, and how Mr. Schu and the New Directions made him a man. Best part, he told Jake that whether he joins glee or not, they're still brothers (aaaawww!). So Jake then joins New Directions and forms an instant bond with Marley. However, things had gone sour when Kitty announces to Marley that she and Jake are now a couple (That's so Rachel-Finn-Quinn!).
Back to Brittany, she was reinstated as Cheerios head cheerleader after she made a legal point to Sue. Technically, she's still the Senior Class President considering the fact that she never graduated yet, making her STILL a senior. So she makes a come back, thanks to Sam's help, and Brit's back to her old self again--minus Santana. :'(
Now let's move on to Rachel. She and Kurt has finally moved to a place of their own. Quite cheap for $1800 a month, but hey, who's complaining right? Rachel's been hung up on Finn for quite some time now and Kurt suggests for her to enjoy her newly-found space (singleness). Kurt finally meets Brody, when he came to visit Rachel at their new place and thought of leaving her with him for a while. Brody makes a move on Rachel and tries to kiss her, but she stops him, saying that she still is in love with Finn. However, Brody's not gonna give up and continues to pursue her by watching her secretly in class, just to win her heart.
Rachel apologizes to Cassie for their previous exchange of words. She thought that maybe Cassie was picking up on her, reason why she always humiliate Rachel in class. To Cassie's defense, she is hard on everyone, explaining that they must learn to not have a melt down whenever they hear criticism from people. She says that if they can't take her criticism, there's a chance they might make it in the broadway world. Rachel has then been forgiven and has been placed on probation in class.
The episode ends with Rachel covering a painted name of Finn on their loft, suggesting Rachel is ready to move on and give Brody a chance.
