2 Broke Girls - Season 2 Premiere

Our favorite broke chicks are back for another season! (Squee!!!) That means another season of hilarity with Max and Caroline, along with Oleg, Sophie, Han and Earl!

Now, this week, Caroline visits her father in prison after learning about the Channing Auction. She brings Max along as requested by her dad. Max finally meets Martin Channing and was in awe of how Caroline's dad is awesome. Caroline tells his dad of their cupcake business but was cut by her father because she talked too much that they're almost out of time. Max was instructed by Martin Channing to accompany Caroline to the state auction to buy a cup Caroline won with Chestnut (her horse) when she was a little girl. Caroline refuses, but her dad pleads and convinces Max to bring Caroline to the state auction no matter what. After the prison talk with Caroline's father, Max convinces Caroline to come to the auction as she is convinced that the cup contains money.

Meanwhile, Oleg asks Sophie for a romantic date... after their 468th sexual encounter. Hey, don't look at me. That was Oleg counting! At first Sophie hesitates (for about 5 seconds), and then finally says yes, asking Oleg to bring her to the Channing family auction. Caroline finds out that Sophie is going to the auction and is pissed that they had an argument about this, resulting to Caroline hurling insults at Sophie's fashion statement.

At the auction, Caroline disguises herself as a brunette to avoid public humiliation in case someone recognizes her. They finally see the cup and bids, winning the cup at $200. They tried to open the cup and finds it empty. They came back to Martin in prison and asks him about it. Apparently, there really is no money. The only reason he asked them to take it is because it would remind her that no matter how hard the circumstance is, she can get over any hurdle. Caroline and Max leaves disappointed, after Caroline reminds her father of what he did that got him imprisoned, and her broke.

Episode ends with them having a total of $727 after losing $200 from the auction.
